Pic Nic

We had the funnest day today! We first went to church, came home and cooked up some food and then went to the park with all the guys from work and had a pic-nic! It was so much fun! It was wonderful to spend some fun time with Doug and the kids. We played on the playground and Coen and Emma both had a blast, as you can see. There are so many more pictures but I cant put them all on here. Coen and Emma had so much fun on the swings and slides! I cant believe how grown up they are already! I have such a wonderful family! I just love them. Too bad yall aren't all here to enjoy this weather with us, its great!

I love to see the Temple

So this is the other place we decided to go on our boring day! I hadn't seen the Temple yet, so we looked up how to get there, and its only like 15 minutes away. It was really cool. It really seems like a small temple though, I don't know, the parking lot was overloaded though, so that was good. Coen had tons of fun out there, he loves to see the temple. Don't I have some beautiful children, I'm so glad I have been to the temple and I get to have them for eternity!

Antsy Day!

So we were getting a little antsy in the house today, we are in the house all the time (totally different then in Texas). So we decided to go on a walk and try to go the park. There is a little park down the road so we started walking, then I realized it was seeming like a long ways away, but we went anyway. So when we got there Coen had fallen asleep, so I asked him if he wanted to stay, he said "no, I want to go home". So we just went home. Oh well, then we decided a little while later to go some where else!

No more monkeys jumpin on the bed!

Well after only being here for 1 week, we know where the hospital is. Last Wednesday morning Doug and Coen and Emma were playing on the bed and Coen fell backwards and hit his head on the night stand next to our bed. Next thing I know he is screaming, and Doug is saying he needs stitches. So we got dressed and took him to the hospital. They ended up putting two staples in it instead of stitches. They say its a little easier to staple on kids than to do stitches, especially in the back of the head like this one. So Coen was such a good boy, he did even cry until they had to hold him down to clean it and staple it. So he was a good sport. It seems to be healing well, we go back on wed. to get the staples out. Anyway, so thats our little monkey for ya!

Colorado!

Howdie all! Well we have been in Colorado for about a week and a half, and im just now getting the computer to work to put my pictures on. So all is well here, the weather is so nice! Doug is loving his job, he always has a really good attitude about it, even if he doesnt see anything. So thats really good. We are making friends with the manager and his wife. There are only 3 of the sellers that are married, and only one besides us that have a little 5 week old baby! So its pretty fun. So the first 3 days we were working Doug sold 3 contracts, but the last few days he hasnt had one. oh well, we still have high hopes! So hope all is well with everyone else!

Lost and Found

Okay so this one is really funny! The other day I was changing Emma's diaper, and Coen starts crying. So I asked him what was wrong, and while crying, he says "Emma's paci". I said whats wrong with Emma's paci, so he took me to the corner were the sub is for the speakers and says in there. Apparently you can put stuff in this hole that i didnt know was completely open. So when Doug got home I told him and he unscrewed it and started taking "stuff out", yes. Apparently he has been putting stuff in there for a while. In the last picutre you will see everything that he has put in there. He is so funny.

Train Ride

So Coen really likes trains now, so we took him on a train ride a week or so ago. He thought it was so fun. He kept say "choo-choo" so loud on the train we were having to shush him. It was really cute. We had a lot of fun! We rode down to Fort Worth and walked around main street, they were having an art show, so it was really fun. We will have to do it again.
