For a Cause!

This is my favorite picture of Lukas, it was last summer!!! Isn't he just a doll!! I usually don't write my feelings on here, but this particular thing has become so close to me and my heart, i thought i would share a little. My Brother and his wife Heather have always been into the Relay for Life, for the American Cancer Society. This year has become really close since Lukas has cancer. He is going to be the honorary chair at the relay this year. Anyway, his big brother (at the age of 2) is going to be a team captain and we are on his team. I have a goal to raise $100 and I'm asking for all of your support. I know a lot of you are poor just like me, but just think what even $5 would do. Everything is going to the American Cancer Society and hopefully soon there will be a cure for it. This has been the hardest thing for our family to go through, I cant even imagine how Kurt and Heather feel. Ive just been crying a lot lately, I tend to start and then just make myself stop. Its just finally really hitting home I guess. Anyway, if any of you would like to donate please let me know. Anything would help, even just a $1. Also they are wanting 100 survivors so if you are one, or know of one let me know, or have them contact me, we would love for them to come to the relay and join in our survivor ceremony! We love Lukas and hope that none of our other little loved ones has to ever hear those words, you have cancer.

"The Mom Test"

Okay, my Mom emailed this to me and I thought It was cute. Some of you may have heard it, but I liked it. So true!!

I was out walking with my 4 year old daughter. She picked up something off the ground and started to put it in her mouth. I took the item away from her and I asked her not to do that. 'Why?' my daughter asked. 'Because it's been on the ground, you don't know where it's been, it's dirty, and probably has germs' I replied. At this point, my daughter looked at me with total admiration and asked, 'Momma, how do you know all this stuff, you are so smart.' I was thinking quickly. 'All moms know this stuff. It's on the Mom Test. You have to know it, or they don't let you be a Mom.' We walked along in silence for 2 or 3 minutes, but she was evidently pondering this new information. 'OH...I get it!' she beamed, 'So if you don't pass the test you have to be the dad. ''Exactly' I replied back with a big smile on my face.

Couch Fun!

I've had Theron for this whole week and part of last week, its been so much fun!! Coen and Emma just love having him here, and it gives Coen a buddy to do all the things I don't really like them to do, but I just let them anyway! Here is what they have been doing all morning today. Before this they were playing doctor and giving each other blessings. They are quite funny together. Its a lot of fun having Theron over!!

Emma joined in the fun for a while, but then Barney came on and she just wanted to watch that. So she pulled the cushion ontop of her legs and tried to watch!!!

Bridal Shower

This Saturday we gave Marlee a bridal shower! It was really fun, she was so embarrased to open her presents infront of everyone, especially the two that were "honeymoon" oriented. It was really funny!! She got lots of good stuff and we played a fun game making wedding dresses out of toilet paper! My mom did the cake, or cupcakes. They were shaped like hers and his wedding rings!! Cute cute!!! I hope Marlee had a good time, and they will have fun moving into their apartment with stuff now!!!

Our Valentine's Night!

We had a great Valentines Day! We had to celebrate on friday since Doug had to work late thursday. It was great, we went out for pizza a this fun litte place in Southlake called Coalvines. It was really good. Then we went to the Cheesecake Factory for desert. Yummy!! That's all I have to say about that. We have so much fun with Blake and Gina!! They are great friends and we always have a blast with them. Thanks guys!!!

Can I say again how much fun we had!! We didn't get home till midnight, cause we just talk and talk and don't even know what time it is!!!

Bike Riding Fun!

The last two Sunday's the kids have had lots of fun playing outside. The weather has been so nice!! Coen and Theron love riding their bikes!! Emma just likes to get in on the action!! They are too cute!!

Dance Dance!!

So for Christmas we got a Dance Dance Revolution game!! It's so fun!! Well some how we managed to get Doug's Dad and my Mom to play!! It was really funny to see them do it, but it was really fun!! We have had so much fun with it. Coen and Emma really love it too. Next time we play ill try and get a video of them, Emma just dances so fast and hard, it's cute.

So the camera is bouncing because Heather and I were both taking a video and we were laughing so hard it was hard to be still!! Thanks mom for playing!! Beth is in love with it too, she always tells me to bring it down!

Beth's Birthday!!

For Beths birthday (on the day of) she wanted to go eat at I-Hop. So we did, and it was way good. Anyway, she got a new phone, which she was totally stoaked about!! As you can tell from the pictures.

While at dinner Marlee put Lukas' hat on Emma and she just loved it. It was so funny, she thought she looked so cute. She is such a princess!!!
