Christmas Traditions

Our family tradition continued this year! Its one of my favorites! I love going to nowhere to cut down our own tree and taking it home and decorating it as a family! No its not perfect, or perfectly decorated...I love that! Its ours! And it shows our families personality! I love my family, and hope that we continue in our traditions! We laugh and have fun and enjoy each others silliness! Grateful for that! Merry Christmas to you all, and may we all have the real spirit of Christmas in our hearts!

Boys, Boys and more Boys!!

We are so blessed to announce that we are having another baby BOY!! We are so excited! I was pretty shocked, I really thought it was a girl. The kids are super excited! Now we just have to come up with a name! Doug doesn't like any of the ones I like! Nothing new! So if you have a 4 letter name, please pass them along!! 

 

Joy

I cannot express the excitement our family feels to have another baby! Yes we did plan this, so no need to criticize! We are so grateful that Heavenly Father has trusted us with another one of His children! We may not have all the money and all the things in the world, but we have our family and that's the most important thing! I wouldn't trade my kids for anything of this earth! I may not be the best mom all the time either, but I love them and teach them the gospel and give them everything that I can! We knew we were supposed to have this baby, we prayed for a while about it! We are so, so happy and cant wait to meet the little one! Thank you to those of you who have been super excited and supportive! We really appreciate it! So to be continued...

Seven

Seven years ago today I was blessed with my first baby girl! Oh how excited I was!! She was perfect in every way! She was chubby and had tons of hair! She was so sweet! She is still the sweetest little girl every! She has always been so loving and caring and a mother at heart! She has been such a joy to our family! I love that girl to pieces! Happy birthday sweet girl! We all love you so, so much!!

Ten

10 years ago I married my best friend! I cant believe how fast time goes! Sometimes it seems like its been longer, but really it just seems like yesterday I was putting on my wedding dress! And now we have Four beautiful children! I cant believe my life sometimes! I'm thankful everyday for my wonderful husband! He works so hard all day long and then comes home and plays with the kids and still does things to help me out! He's amazing, I couldn't have dreamed up anyone better for me! Thank you for the wonderful memories we have created together! I know many more will come! Here's to eternity with my best friend!! Love you babe!!

Spring

We went to the Dallas Arboretum a few times this spring! The kids love that place, and had a blast every time! This time we went the kids were all about "take my picture", and "let me take yours"! It was fun! You can tell the ones I wanted to take because they didn't want to! The good ones are the ones they wanted!! Ha! Love my family!! We have had a lot of fun this year together!!

Jacks 2nd Birthday Party

 Happy birthday Jack!! We had such a fun baseball party!! This year at the Ball Park they have a few new foods, one of which Doug and I LOVE!! Its called Smokehouse Fries...its waffle fries with brisket on top, and fried/dried onions and Sweet Baby Rays BBQ sauce on top of that!! Delish!! So Doug smoked our first brisket and we had that for dinner!! It was pretty much the bomb!!! Of course we had cupcakes as well, and treat bags for the kids to take home!! Jack was SO excited to blow out his candles, it was so cute! The kids got to play baseball with water balloons too! I stopped taking pictures after Jared got my camera wet! Haha! He I pictured below, and I'm pretty sure it was the best picture of the whole party! Thank you so much to everyone who came and loved on Jack! We missed those who weren't able to make it as well! We love our Jack so, so much! Happy Birthday!!

Jack

Happy 2nd Birthday Jackie! I cant believe you are two already! Where did the year go? Jack is so much fun! He's always laughing and talking and following the other kids, and singing, and smiling! I love this kid so, so much! He has been such a joy in our family! I feel like I've been able to really take him in, and I'm so grateful for that! Thank you for joining our family Jack!

My Family

Man im way behind on my blog, eh? Well maybe i can get caught up soon! Maybe! Life has been so busy and so fun! In december we had family pictures done!! When did my kids grow up? Man! I love them! Coen is finishing 2nd grade in 2 weeks, and Emma is finishing kindergarten! Aww! Where has the time gone! They have both done so well this year! Emma has learned a TON of Spanish! I love hearing how well she does in there! Lyla is growing up and turning more sassy! She is 4 now (which will be a catch up post) and loving teaching and playing with Jack at home all day! She loves her sunbeam class at church too! Jack is so much fun! He will be 2 in a month! He is talking so much there is almost no language barrier! I love it!  Life is just moving along! So enjoy the pictures and hopefully ill be posting more soon!
