Bath Time

Lyla finally got her first bath last week! I know what a terrible mother, she's a month old! Its not like she has just been dirty and stinky, I was her, just not a full bath! Oh well, anyway, she didn't seem to really mind it at all. No indifference! She's awful cute though I know!! The kids had to get their stool and come and help! They had more fun playing in the water!!

Lately!

These are just a few pictures from lately! We spent a few hours over at Doug's moms the other day, so the kids had a little egg hunt that latest all day! They had so much fun they brought it inside and hid eggs all over the house over and over again! It was pretty funny to watch!

Okay all you moms out there with 3 or more kids, how in the heck do you keep it together? I'm at a loss. My two older kids are driving me crazy, literally! I don't know what to do most days! I feel like I want to just run away!! Help me please! Ill take all the advice I can get!

Happy Easter!

We had a really good Easter this year! Not that the others have been bad, but this one was good! It has been so fun having Lyla in our family, the kids just adore her, and its just been a blessing having her in our family! I think that is what I have been the most thankful for this Easter season, is my family, and my kids! Even though the older two are driving me crazy at the moment, I'm still really thankful for them!

We had a lot of fun taking some pictures of the kids before church on Sunday! Hope you think they are as cute as I do!! When I was getting Lyla dressed Emma was watching and she got so excited when I put on her dress. She said, oh, its like mine!!! She loved that they matched!! It was a lot of fun! I know some of you are going to wonder where the skirts I made them are? Well I just haven't had the energy to get everything out to finish Lyla's so they are going to get them later. I know I know, how lazy!! Gosh they are so cute!!

Saturday morning was our primary egg hunt! I didn't really want to get up and go, but I knew it was going to rain all day on Sunday, so I felt I better take them! We got there right when they were already hunting eggs, so they just did their own on the side! Robert took the pictures for me!! Grandma came too, thank goodness! I don't know when I will be able to out by myself with three kids!! Its crazy even with help! Thanks grandma!!

After the egg hunt, they played on the playground with all the other kids, they had lots of fun!! Thank goodness Robert came to push the two girls, they loved it!!

All Rolled into One!

Well this is a mix matched post! First we had a little party at home for Doug on his birthday! It was kinda fun! The kids were so excited to give him the cards they made and for him to blow out candles! They were just antsy waiting for him to come home! It was so funny! So I made Doug light his own candles and we sang happy birthday and had cake! Pretty fun!

Saturday was the Neuroblastoma Walk for a Cure! It was a lot of fun and a great turn out! Last I heard they raised about $30 K!! Yay, lots can be done with that money at Cooks for the Neuroblastoma program.

Emma and Theron had fun holding hands and walking together! It was a beautiful morning for a 3 mile walk!

Heather made signs for all the Neuroblastoma kids for everyone to look at on the walk! They were really cute! We all stopped at took a picture in front of Lukas'!

Lyla Happenings!

Well things still are not back to normal in our house! Emma was sick, then I got sick this week, finally feeling better. Now I'm just hoping that no one else gets sick so we can get back to normal. Lyla had her 2 week check up this week and she still wasn't up to her birth weight. The doc said that in 2 more weeks she better be back up or she is going to be concerned. I think she will be, shes just going to be a petite little girl. Lucky! Anyway, she is 21 inches now and the doc said she looks just perfect!! We already knew that! The kids are still having so much fun with her, Coen is always saying, "Lyla is sssoooooooo cute, shes so beautiful, and then some". Hes so funny and so in love with her! Emma too!! I'm so glad for that, it would really be hard if they didn't like her. So these are just a few random pictures of Lyla, I'm not so good at the picture taking, so we don't have very many, I know how sad!

This picture just melts my heart, I love it! She was in her swing the other day and found her thumb, it was the cutest thing ever!

Lyla's first train ride!!

When my dad was here, we decided it would be fun to ride the train to Fort Worth and walk around sundance square! So we did! Coen just loves trains and had so much fun!! It was fun to get out, even though I walked pretty slow, 6 days after having a baby will do that to you! Anyway, thanks again dad for coming!! We had lots of fun!
