Well Hello!!! Its been a whirlwind of the last month! Ill tell you, so many times I just wanted to crawl in a hole! We have been really blessed in our lives so far and I think the Lord was trying to get me to realize how much worse life could be. I'm so thankful that its not worse, really, things could be so much worse! Anyway, here is a bit of whats been going on! So first, last month I was down visiting my mom and we were spending the night. At about 10:30 pm on a Wednesday night a drunk driver decided to plow into our van! It was a nightmare from then on for about 4 weeks! When all was said and done, we came out with 3 new car seats, a car seat stroller system, and a new van!! Oh and a ton of stress and headaches!!! Our new van is so nice though! We are really blessed! We have wonderful families too! Both Doug's parents and my mom were so great through all of it. They helped more than we could have ever asked for! We love you all! My mom is really great, she helped me out emotionally almost daily. I just had a really hard time understanding why good hard working honest people like ourselves could get so totally screwed over by other peoples careless mistakes! I guess its a lesson that's hard to learn! Anyway, now that I have written a book.... the other really big thing is one week after having our van smashed, Doug comes home and tells me he no longer has a job after two weeks. They have closed the Franklin Covey store where he has worked for 5 years! So we are currently unemployed!! Yay! More time with Doug, but not so much money! Oh well. So that's that!!!
Now on to my beautiful kids!!! We were at my moms one Sunday and took the kids bikes, it was beautiful outside!! So here are some pictures from that! I got the kids these totally cool hats!! love them!
These were another day at my moms, we have spent a lot of time there lately!!
Anyway, Coen was helping my mom make cinnamon rolls (i think) and was having so much fun in the flour!!

you are such a trooper. I would probably have freaked. I'm glad things are starting to get a little more normal!! And yay for new stuff!!
Hang in there life has a funny way of teaching us things! You will get through it, I know because we have- Gary lost his job in Feb. and since then we have had to sell our house and give up most everything else. Its life now we get to start over and I am working on nursing school and he is working on computers. It is tough and sucks, but it also teaches and you grow. If I can do anything for you let me know! Just remember when you feel like you can't do it you can! We are always stronger than we think.
I already left a little note on your facebook- but now that I see those uber cute hats- I think I need to leave a not here! They are so cute! Love little L's!
So sorry to hear about all your headaches! Man! Here's to blessings waiting around the corner. Best of luck with your hubby finding another job. You do have some of the cutest kids I've ever seen!
