So I'm super excited! Last week I got an email from Modmum saying that I had won one of the baby slings from the contest in December!!! I couldn't believe it, I was so excited!! Coen Quotes!

So Coen says some pretty funny things! I should start writing them all down, but I don't! Anyway, this morning Doug's school was cancelled from the ice, so Coen was so excited that daddy didn't have to do anywhere today! Coen says "now we can play games all day"! Doug says "okay"! Then Coen says "daddy we can play your favorite game, tag your it"!! It was pretty funny! The kids just love it when daddy is home! I don't even think they would miss me if I was gone! Oh well!!

Funky Weather

So if any of you have lived in Texas, or for most of you that live in Texas, you know that we get some pretty crazy weather here! Well lately it has been really crazy! We will have a couple of 75 or 80 degree days and then the next day its 40 outside! This last week we had a couple of those really warm days! Thursday was one of those, it was like 80 something that day! So we called up our favorite people and we had lunch and went to the park! It was awesome!! The kids had so much fun and they even came the first time I said we need to go, I was completely shocked! Anyway, Thanks for the fun day you guys!!

Funny Story!

Okay so I have a funny little short story to tell! Last night Doug was giving the kids a bath, and he came in to tell me this. Doug was trying to get Coen to say his last name, he was asking if he knew what it was and he didn't remember. So Doug says "It goes Coen Douglas....." and Coen quickly replies, "its Coen Douglas Come Here"!! Doug laughed and I laughed, a lot, and said yep that's your name!! Ha ha, I thought it was pretty funny, and cleaver! The things these kids pick up on! I love it! He is so funny sometimes, and the thing is I don't think he was trying to be funny, he really thought that for a minute! Oh boy, guess I need to figure out a new way to call him!

Coen's Birthday Party!

Coen had a great birthday party!! Thank you to everyone who came! He got lots of great toys and even some money to spend! Thanks to my mom for doing the cake! It was a warm day and the frosting kinda ran, but it was a really cute cake!! Coen sure loved it!!

New Years Day!

Okay, well I'm way behind on my blogging, I don't think I have gotten this far behind before! Anyway, so the posts are going to be out of order cause I cant get my Christmas pictures to load for some reason! Anyway, this is from Doug's Mom's birthday, we had roast for dinner at our house and Robert and Melissa and Clara came over as well! It was really good!!

These were from New Year's Day, we all went to my moms house and played and ate Crepes! Yummy, they are a fav! Anyway, it was pretty warm out so the kids got to ride their bikes! They played outside for almost 2 hours! It was pretty fun!!

Happy Birthday to my Little Boy!

Well I cant hardly believe that today is my little boys 4th birthday! It kinda makes me sad in a way! I cant even explain how much I (we) love this little boy! He has been such a blessing in our lives. Sure he has been a challenge at times, but he is always such a joy to have around. Ill never forget the feeling I had giving birth to my first child. I was so happy, I remember when my mom came in the room and I was already fighting back the tears, i don't know why. But when she came in I know she was doing the same! I just love Coen so much, he is so smart, sweet, funny, and kind. Among other things. Anyway, well I just want him to know how much I love him! I'm sure his dad would join in that too! We love you Coen and are so glad you are a part of our family!! I just love these pictures!
