Happy Birthday Mom

My Mom had a birthday in August, so we decided to throw her a surprise party!! We like those! It was really quite easy to pull off, and she was totally surprised! She didn't have a clue!! We had all of her favorite things there! Spinach Dip, queso, peanut m&m's and sour patch kids!! It was pretty tasty stuff!! Happy Birthday to my Mom!!

I did her cake! I think it turned out pretty good for my first ever cake all on my own!! I got to thinking right before the party that I must be dumb to do her cake because she is the cake queen and why would I want her to critique my cake! Oh well, I did it anyway, and she said she liked it! This is her coming in and being totally surprised!! Ha ha!!

Family Fun!

We had lots of fun the end of July when David and Sarah and the boys came! We sure miss them! These are from our celebrating David and Roberts birthday's at Texas Roadhouse!! Yum! I love that place!!!

6 Years!!

Happy Anniversary to my wonderful Husband!! I'm so thankful for Doug and for all that he does for me! We have had a hard last 6 years, but also a very fun and rewarding last 6 years! We have 3 beautiful kids and have come a long way! I love Doug, he is so determined, he gets so excited and passionate about things also! I love it! He is so good to me, I don't know how I got so lucky!! Thank you Doug for being so wonderful! I love you so much, I'm looking forward to another 6 years + many many more, then on to Eternity!

Coen took our picture today!! He does pretty good! Thanks to my wonderful sister Bethy!! She came over Friday and watched the kids so Doug and I could go to the Temple! Our besties came with and we had a great time. We got to do some sealings for some of Doug's moms relatives. It was a fun experience, and I felt the spirit so strong!

Adventures

We didn't get to spend as much time at the ranch playing as we would have liked to this time around! But we got to go out one day and take the kids on the 4 wheeler!! It was so fun! My dad took us out to see some natural arches and stuff! The kids had fun, but it was warm!!

We went to watch my dad leave on the train one day when he went to work! Coen said as we were watching "that train is so beautiful"! He loves trains!!!

Just a random one of Lyla, she couldn't decide what she wanted! Right after I posted her sucking her thumb so well, she didn't want it anymore and decided to take a paci!! Silly girl!! But only took it that day, and now is back to the thumb!!

The last day we were there was my dads birthday! He's old!! So Carl and Janeen had us out to the ranch for "home grown steak"! Doug loved it!! We sang happy birthday and had cake! Pretty fun!!

Mountains!

We like mountains, even though Ive always had a fear of driving up them. I always have a lot of fun on the top! We spent a couple of days up on the top of this mountain, there is a really pretty lake and some fun scenery places!! This day all the kids and Doug and my Dad played on the snow on the side of the hill. It was fun for them!!

Fountains in Sheridan

Sheridan had this little park area with fountains so we took the kids down one day and let them play! It took them a while to warm up to the idea, but after they did, they had fun!!

They had this really cool park at my dads and the kids had so much fun! Coen was loving this digger!!

July Fourth!

I know I haven't posted in forever!! Sorry Beth!! Well this is from the 4th of July! This was our 2nd year to be in Wyo for the 4th and its so much fun! There is a big polo ranch out there and they put on some amazing fireworks!! Thousands of people come to watch! Its really fun! We go really early and get a good spot and play ladder ball while we wait!
